Back Country Roads is a 6-piece Top 40 Country Cover band out of the Northern Illinois area.
Back Country Roads is one of the Midwest's freshest Top 40 Country cover bands, playing mostly new country, a few older classics, and even a few songs from other genres made to fit their unique sound. Back Country Roads, aka "BCR" was created in 2009 as an acoustic band but quickly expanded into a full 6-piece band. BCR never fails to give the audience a unique and entertaining show. Their vocal blend and musicianship is what sets them apart from the rest. BCR has opened for acts such as Easton Corbin, Phil Vassar, Neal McCoy, Darryl Worley, Keith Anderson, Grainger Smith, Cassadee Pope, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Steel Magnolia and David Lee Murphy to name a few. They have also played at Country Thunder Wisconsin the last 5 years. BCR hopes to continue their success in expanding to other areas of Illinois and other states.
